We were asked to advise a charity on how to ensure good governance and observance of policies and procedures for their volunteers.
How we helped
We provided a Volunteers’ Handbook including bespoke policies for the organisation and then training to the Volunteers on their duties and responsibilities.
Background
An organisation approached us for advice as their application to become a charity had been rejected by the Charities Commission.
How we helped
We advised the charity, drafted the foundation documents and assisted with the resubmission of the application. We responded to questions from the Charities Commission and the application was accepted.
