Risk management and Trustee Training
Background
A charity appointed a new CEO who became concerned about how the charity had previously been managed. To assist the CEO, it was decided that the charity should appoint additional trustees and assess current policies and procedures.
How we Helped
We carried out an organisational audit of the charity’s policies and provided a report to the CEO. We identified that risk management was lacking and drafted a risk management policy and register.
We assisted the CEO in writing a description of the trustee’s roles and with the final stages of the interview process for appointment of new trustees.
Once new trustees had been appointed we trained all trustees on their roles and responsibilities and key individuals on risk management.
